The second year of the YRA photo treasure hunt proved to be a fun time for all who participated. But one sailor went above and beyond and captured all but one of the 12 shots, even being sure to include a winch handle in every shot. Congratulations to Charlie Diest. Charlie sent us his Sailstice adventure of capturing all of the photos with a group of students from Spinnaker Sailing.

I was teaching a Basic Coastal Cruising class for Spinnaker this past weekend and decided to enter our crew into the Treasure Hunt.
We got as many as 11 out of 12 (if you count the USS Balaclutha as being a tall ship "on the bay"). I think we got the winch in all of them, except the one of the tallship with the three crew standing tall in the aquatic park. There is another of a single crew member standing tall - winch included.
I entered with the username "Baysteader" for the Santa Cruz 27. My crew members were Martin, Kati, and Diego.
