Rovin' Around

Some sailors stay in the same place, they sail with the same crew and create strong local traditions. Others, like Tom Jeff, have sailed in different locations for the last three consecutive Summer Sailstice celebrations. Tom sails his own boat, an O'Day 17named Laghin' Place normally. But for the 2021 Summer Sailstice, Tom was in Santa Barbara, CA. Their bareboat charter celebration looked like it included good weather and good wine! In 2022, Tom took the O'Day for a sail on Lake Casitas. For this year's celebration, Tom will be in Pyramid Lake California for a daysail. We love to see someone regularly remembering their sailstice plans by documenting it on our map.
