We've posted a few stories about Summer Sailstice events and sailing plans that are set to take place around the country and around the world, and just when we think everyone has signed up and added their plans, the events keep coming. It's fantastic to see so many open days, regattas, raft ups, races, cruises... the list and variety of celebratory plans is longer than my halyard!
Community Sailing of Colorado in, you guessed it, Colorado is hosting an Open Sail BBQ.

Jezsustice is more than this crew's first Summer Sailstice. This event marks the first ever sailing season for Jezsu, the Hungarian Jesuit High School and comes after a year and a half of discussions and planning. The school's sailing program will take place on Lake Tisza and launch with one boat - a MacGregor 26 which was donated by a parent of one of the school's students. It goes to show that persistence can and does pay off.
"It is the beginning of the school's sailing adventure. We will not have fireworks, and we need to overcome difficulties in daily base, but we will not stop. The water is waiting us and the wind is ready. Someday we will cross the ocean as well. Someday..." - Salty Priest
