Summer Sailstice: Coming to a Bay Near You!

Sailing is different for everyone; some sailors like to go solo while others prefer a full boat and more alongside. Which ever you prefer I think we can all agree that sailing is fun and everyone should join in. This is what's so great about the many individual and group sailing events that are popping up on the Summer Sailstice map. There's something for everyone!

Check it out, the map is full of pins:

Summer Sailstice sailors' map

Each pin (lets call them balloons it's more fun) represents at least 1 boat and 1 person, but... the different colors show that many events will have several boats and any number of people aboard each one.

Blue balloons = minimum: 1 person/1 boat

Red ballons = a club, fleet or association that is hosting an event for its members and showcasing their style of sailing to the rest of the world

Yellow balloons = a club, fleet, association or even a sailing school that is inviting the public to come and join them for sailboat rides, equipment demonstrations, short sailing lessons and any other fun activities they can think of - often including raft ups, parties, family days.... you name it.

And if you think of something that hasn't been done before then make it your plan and your event! You can do that right now, and right here: ADD MY PLAN/EVENT

Here are some events that have recently signed up. Is one of them yours?
