Welcome aboard Shelly Willard. It is Shelly's second year representing Sailstice as an ambassador and her 8th year of sailing on Sailstice. Shelly is passionate about sailing and the community it connects.
Tell us a bit about yourself!
If only I had grown up sailing, rather than "just" on the water in every other type of boat! But better late than never; in the last 15 years I have found the sailing community as diverse and welcoming as the boats they sail on. I've cruised on big and small boats, gone through the Panama Canal, snorkeled and scuba-ed tiny islands, but the best part is being on the water with other sailors, experiencing new winds every day, and gazing out 360 degrees around me. It's a sailor's life for me!
