Seatime gets sailing time with Summer Sailstice

Lisa Schick of Seatime, a Southern California sailing school and club based in Newport Beach, reported in with some of their club members activities for Summer Sailstice including the christening of her own new boat! Here's some of the folks from Seatime who just chose Summer Sailstice weekend as one of the best weekends of the year to simply sail and celebrate:

Terry Tysseland and crew chartered FoxSea, a Dufour 38, and set sail for a week long trip to Catalina.

Heinz Rose and Rich Shipp chartered Vested Interest, a Hunter 340, for a nice day of sailing off Newport Coast.

Fred Lang and crew chartered Keri Lynn, a Hunter 380, for a weekend trip to Catalina.

Mike Kent and crew chartered Emanuel, a Hunter 340, for a week long trip to Catalina.

Lisa Schick christened her new Colgate 26, Vixen, and enjoyed the maiden voyage in the waters off the coast of Newport Beach.

All in all it was a beautiful day of sailing in Southern California. SeaTime Sailing Club is going to make the Summer Sailstice an annual event. Next year we will make this a much larger event.

Like many clubs they are just getting into the swing of Summer Sailstice and more and more of their members are signing up and getting a chance to sail, celebrate and win.

Lisa - thanks for the news and enjoy that Colgate 26.
