Summer Sailstice was a huge success here at OCSC. Through the day we had nearly 400 people show up to celebrate. We charter all 45 of our yachts from 24' to 44'. With a DJ set up to spin tunes everyone was fed a delicious BBQ and danced into the twilight. Both the Hawaiian Chieftain and the Gas Light were chartered to take 90 people out for a sunset sail from 7 to 10 PM. On their return a bonfire was lit and as the sparks flew high into the sky the crowd raised their glasses in the classic Nordic tradition of the mid-summer fest to celebrate their good luck to be sailors. Over a thousand dollars was raised to contribute to the Sailstice designated recipient, Seacology. Sailstice will forever after be an annual celebration here at OCSC.
