Modern Sailing School & Club is the latest ASA school to join the 2018 Summer Sailstice celebrations. As part of the partnership between Summer Sailstice and American Sailing Association (ASA), Modern Sailing is inviting you to join them for a weekend of sailing and fun.
Modern Sailing members and up to two of their guests are invited to take part in their Summer Sailstice celebrations - two Club Sails on Saturday, June 23rd followed by a complimentary BBQ between 3.30 - 5pm, and an evening sail from 5 - 9pm. You can also take part in Sunday's Club Sail.
Since 1983, Modern Sailing School & Club has been introducing people to sailing from their headquarters in Sausalito, California. Even if you've never set foot on a boat, the three-time winner of ASA's 'Outstanding School of the Year' award can help you build a strong foundation in sailing. The school's experienced instructors hold US Coast Guard 50 Ton (or greater) Master's Licenses, and represent decades of sailing experience from racing to world cruising, to Coast Guard experience. Under the teams friendly guidance, students can learn skills in basic Keel Boat handling, Racing and Coastal Cruising, complete Charter Captain and Instructor Qualifications, and gain the full range of ASA Certifications.
In addition to teaching you all about sailing, Modern Sailing also offers boat charter opportunities, skippered sails for private charters and corporate events, and destination sailing which can take you to exotic places around the globe such as Tahiti, Croatia, Greece, Mexico, St Lucia & The Grenadines. Take a look at where they've been and what's coming up...
Join them on the next trip to the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, Australia, Thailand, Caribbean or Mexico.
No matter how well you do or don't sail, or if you've never been sailing but want to, Modern Sailing School & Club can get you underway. And if you happen to know any of the club's members, get them to invite you along for the 2018 Summer Sailstice celebrations and join thousands of sailors across the globe for the June 23 event!
