Lake Eustis in Florida is a busy sailing center thanks to the Lake Eustis Sailing Club. Here's how they describe their sailing center: Located in beautiful Eustis, Florida, Lake Eustis Sailing club is the home to four one-design racing fleets (MC Scow, Laser, Flying Scot, Wayfarer) and is the most active racing and sailing club in Central Florida! The large boat storage area and dual launching ramps on our lakeside, ten acre property allow all to dry sail their boats, for convenience and safety. We have a large clubhouse, perfect for pre- and post sailing get-togethers and activities. With such a perfect setup, its no wonder we're home to five regional sailing events, and to club racing two weekends per month, each year from Labor Day to Memorial Day.
And, they had a fantastic Summer Sailstice with lots of regular members bringing out guests to connect with sailing and the LESC. Here's the story:
Hi! I wanted to give you a quick rundown of what happened at the Lake Eustis "Summer Sailstice" this weekend, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 21st, 22nd and 23rd. If you weren't there, you missed a GREAT time! There was a Sailing Poker Run, good food, games, live bluegrass music, good food, fun conversations, and did I mention good food? LESC member Glenda Libby did an EXCELLENT job of organizing our Summer Sailstice, putting together the Schedule of Events, and inviting lots of people. THANK YOU, Glenda!
We had Ocala Sailing club, the "Trailer Sailors", and several other organizations who showed up and sailed with us. A "Sailing Poker Run" was set up and conducted by Glenda, involving sailing to three different buoys and picking up a poker chip. Whoever had all three poker chips was then the winner. The winner was, (I don't know)!.

It takes all kinds of boats to make a sailing festival - have a look at this classic:
