As the prize draw continues we're enjoying sending emails to the winners and receiving their Summer Sailstice news and photos. For example, Mark Baquial who won a NauticEd Sailing Certification spent his Summer Sailstice in California, sailing from San Diego Bay to Glorietta Bay Coronado aboard an FP catamaran.
Looks like a nice day, Mark!
Mark is joined by the other NauticEd winners, Alan Bomar, Cindy Warner, Chris and Nancy, Lorenzo Palermo, M A Plant, Terry Pils, Gary H., Salty Priest, and Sergio all of who win their choice of any one sailing course from NauticEd International Sailing Education (not including the RYA Day Skipper Course). These comprehensive courses cover every aspect of sailing from crew to skipper. We wish all the winners good luck with their chosen course!
Single Malt (we think this might be an alias ^.^), Susan M., and Wilfredo Rodriguez have each won a Water-resistent NOAA Chart from OceanGrafix. OceanGrafix charts are printed on-demand and contain NOAA’s latest cartographic changes, and the winners get to choose their chart!
Ontario Sailor Magazine has donated 3 x 1-year magazine subscriptions, and these have been won by Larry Miers, Sylvia, and B Richardson. We hope you enjoy this magazine folks as it's packed with regular columns, feature articles, regatta news, and events and happenings at yacht clubs and marinas in the Great Lakes regions of both Canada and the USA.
Curtis Gibson, Celeste Crissey, and Marjorie & Juergen have each won a 50% Discount Coupon from Mantus Anchors. How cool is that! There are so many great products to choose from and we can't wait to see what they each decide.
Marybeth & Rip Edmundson have won the Helly Hansen Duffel which was kindly donated by Gowrie Group-Marine Insurance. Got to love that prize, duffels are the best!
D.Counihan who sails with the Neenah-Nodaway (is that even a real place?) Yacht Club has won a Plastimo Safety Ladder in Bag from Bainbridge International, and Kyle J. has won the Plastimo Iris 50 hand bearing Compass, also donated by Bainbridge International.
Out of curiousity we looked up 'Neenah-Nodaway Yacht Club' (NNYC) and discovered that the NNYC has existed since 1864, and is one of the oldest Yacht Clubs in the country. The club promotes sailing for individuals of all ages by sponsoring club racing and cruising on Lake Winnebago, and helps support the Fox Valley Sailing School in Neenah, WI.
And...
E Smith from Missouri has won the Grab'n Go Mooring Hook from CS Johnson Marine Hardware. This prize is sure to get good use aboard E's Cape Dory 31 'Larrisa'.
If you are one of the winners listed above, please send us some photos and tell us a little about your Summer Sailstice celebration so we can share with the Sailstice community!
