Got a lot of sailing in this week. My family and my brother's family got together for our annual beach trip. We had a Hobie 16 and a Hobie Getaway. Dolphin cruises on the gulf by day, sunset cruises 'til dark every evening. The older kids got to take their first trips by themselves. Four kids nine years old to thirteen years old set off on their first sail with no adults on board. Launched the boats, tacked, gybed, beach landing... beautiful.
Better than ‘having a Hobie day’, it sounds like it was a perfect Hobie week. Do you remember your first Hobie sail? We don’t think anyone should go through life without one.
